About Event

In a town, Father Saul, a rogue priest drowning in doubts and longing, harbors a dangerous secret: he is in love with Rahab, a fierce yet fragile prostitute seeking redemption through his confessional. Every week, Rahab pours out her soul, confessing sins and dreams of a better life for her newborn son, her only light in a world of shadows.

But tragedy strikes when Rahab’s baby is stolen by Sister Ann, a zealous woman forced to become a nun and consumed by her belief that she must bare a child and that she is rescuing the child from a sinful fate. Unbeknownst to Saul, Ann’s actions threaten to destroy the fragile sanctuary Rahab has found within the church and to expose what goes on behind the scenes.

As Saul uncovers the truth, he is torn between loyalty to his sacred vows and the unbearable pull of his love for Rahab. The weight of their secrets presses down like the tide, threatening to drown them all as the police close in what what is indeed the biggest religious massacre of the century.

With haunting melodies and raw, emotional storytelling, Against the Tide is a tale of forbidden love, betrayal, and redemption. As the storm inside Saul builds, he must decide: will he stand against the tide of his faith and the institution he serves to heal Rahab’s shattered heart, or will his silence leave them all lost in the dark depths forever?
